UGhar is a hyperlocal technology platform that connects customers with trusted local service professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your information when you access or use our website, mobile application or related services.

About Us & Brand Ownership
UGhar is owned, operated and managed by Mirvanta Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (bearing Corporate Identification Number CIN: U63122JH2026PTC028624, with its registered office at Agrico, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India). Throughout this Privacy Policy, references to "UGhar", "we", "our" and "Company" refer to Mirvanta Technologies Private Limited and its products, services and digital platforms.
1. Information We Collect
• Account & Profile Information: We collect your mobile phone number, name, and role preference (Customer or Service Partner) to establish accounts verified through secure OTPs.
• Doorstep Location Data: To dispatch local service partners to the correct quarter or house, we capture doorstep coordinates. This is done via your active browser GPS or when you confirm your location pin on our interactive Leaflet maps.
• Partner Verification Records: For Service Partners, we collect government-issued identity documents (such as Aadhaar, PAN or any other identification document as required) to securely verify identity and maintain safety standards.
• Delivery Verification: We verify the location coordinates of Service Partners during job completion to confirm doorstep arrival and accurate service completion.
2. How We Use Your Information
• To Dispatch Services: We use address coordinates strictly to match you with nearby service partners and coordinate their travel to Bistupur, Sakchi, Sonari, Kadma, Mango, Baridih, or other Jamshedpur zones.
• To Verify Doorstep Arrivals: Service partner coordinates are checked at job completion to verify they have arrived and completed the service at the registered location.
• To Build Platform Trust: Selected reputation indicators (such as completed jobs count and ratings) are displayed to customers to incentivize quality performance and build mutual trust.
3. Location Services & Map Tools
Our platform utilizes interactive mapping technologies and third-party geolocation services to help identify service locations accurately. Location data is resolved and formatted safely and stored in databases protected by Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) policies.
4. Third-Party Sharing & Security
We do not sell or rent your personal information to advertisers or unrelated third parties. Information is shared only where necessary to provide our services, comply with applicable laws, process payments, verify identity, or improve platform security. All server requests are authenticated via secure sessions, and database access is restricted using strict role policies.
5. Account & Data Deletion Request
In accordance with Google Play Store Developer Policies and Indian Information Technology laws, UGhar users have full rights to request the permanent deletion of their account, mobile phone number, booking history, and personal profile data at any time.
How to Request Account & Data Deletion:
• In-App Deletion:You can submit a deletion request directly within the UGhar App via Profile Settings > Request Account Deletion.
• Web/Email Deletion Request: Alternatively, send an email to support@ughar.in or privacy@ughar.in with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" along with your registered 10-digit mobile number.
• Retention & Timeline: Upon receiving your verified request, your account, personal data, and saved addresses will be permanently deleted from our active databases within 7 to 14 business days. Certain transactional records (such as completed billing invoices) may be retained strictly as required by Indian tax and statutory compliance laws.
