These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the UGhar website, app, and associated doorstep matching services in Jamshedpur.

By registering as a Customer or joining as a Service Partner, you agree to comply with these terms in full. Please read them carefully.

1. User Accounts & OTP Verification

Customers: Must verify their accounts via mobile OTP verification. You agree to provide accurate names and doorstep addresses for service dispatch.

Service Partners (Workers): Must undergo mandatory background checks, including Aadhaar card verification. Partners agree to maintain high quality of service and follow platform guidelines.

2. Anti-Bypass Platform Integrity Policy

A. No Off-Platform Transactions: Customers and Service Partners are encouraged to complete all bookings and payments through the UGhar platform. Services booked outside the platform are not covered under UGhar support, service guarantees, dispute resolution, or future booking benefits.

B. Partner Compliance: Service Partners are expected to follow platform guidelines and complete all assigned jobs through UGhar. Repeated violations of platform policies may result in account review, temporary suspension, or removal from the platform.

Service Partners who consistently follow platform guidelines may receive additional benefits, priority job allocation, improved visibility, and access to future partner programs.

3. Transparent Pricing Policy

Pricing for all home services (Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances) is transparent and determined by our catalog rates at checkout. Neither Customers nor Partners may adjust service charges outside the platform. Any additional work requested must be logged through a separate platform booking to remain verified and covered under our terms.

4. Ratings, Reviews & Cancellations

If you are dissatisfied with a completed service, you can log a rating and review within the Customer portal or contact our support team. UGhar provides direct dispute resolution and, where applicable, flat-rate refunds for verified service issues resolved through our platform channels. Bookings can be cancelled at any time before the assigned partner dispatches to your location.
